In 2018, WVT Industries realised its first acquisition of the Dutch company StarMarine Chemicals. StarMarine Chemicals can rely on 35 years of expertise in marine cleaning chemicals, water treatment, tank cleaning agents and other products for the marine industry.

StarMarine is a world leader in marine chemicals. They manufacture and supply cleaning solutions and related products for the merchant navy. Their extensive product range is perfectly suited for cleaning, maintaining and ensuring maximum performance of different types of ships: cargo, cruise ships and tankers. They supply these products to a distribution network that covers all major ports on every continent.

Chemtec Chemicals

We are proud to announce the third acquisition in 2021: Chemtec Chemicals GmbH, located in Dassendorf in Germany.

This global player has been one of the leading companies in the sector for more than 25 years. Chemtec Chemicals GmbH is a manufacturer specialised in tank-cleaning chemicals for the maritime industry, and has a very modern, fully automated production and filling plant near Hamburg.

This fits seamlessly with the further growth strategy of WVT Industries and our ambition to become a leading European player within the chemical and maritime industry, with a strong focus on private label.
