Demul SL 160

WVT Industries introduces with Demul SL 160 a new (revolutionary) demulsifier specially developed for low temperature applications.

Demul SL 160 is used for splitting a wide range of oil-in-water emulsions and can be used alone or in combination with other emulsion splitting methods such as ultrafiltration, decanters or centrifuges.

Demul SL 160 is a liquid demulsifier with excellent performance for slobs (oil-water emulsions) with a temperature between min 35°C and max 70°C.

Due to its high surface activity, the additive quickly breaks down the emulsion and effectively removes the water. This significantly improves both oil and effluent water quality.

The product reduces water fractions in oil to less than one percent and minimizes oil residues in wastewater to 10 ppm.

Thanks to the low processing temperature, this results in substantial savings in energy costs.

It is suitable for all international onshore and offshore applications. When blended with conventional demulsifiers, it is an economically attractive and effective solution that enables oil fracturing in areas where insufficient temperature is available for the process, such as older wells or offshore drilling fields or low flash slobs requiring treatment.

Dilution depends on the origin and quality of the slob between min 250 and max 2000 ppm
