H2S Vap Scav



H2S Vap Scav is a product specially developed for the corrosion control, passivation and removal of H2S in the discharge of hydrocarbons, gas oil, crude oils, slops,... and can also be used in the gas phase.


  • H2S Vap Scav quickly captures H2S and RSH from gases derived from middle distillates, benzines, aromatic solvents, crude oils, oily refinery sludge, residues and foams.
  • Very low dosages and cost-effective treatment make it an attractive way for refiners to control H2S and RSH in a variety of products.


  • High efficiency and thermal stability
  • Good anti-corrosion properties
  • Prevention of microbiologically influenced corrosion
  • Fully soluble in water and also soluble in oil


  • Dosing rates may vary depending on operating conditions.
  • Can be dosed pure or properly diluted with water and can be injected into the hydrocarbon phase or gas phase
  • Very low dosages of only 3 - 5 ppm product per 1 ppm H2S.

  • Flash Point: > 110°C
  • Solubility in water: completely soluble

Protect face and hands with a mask, goggles and suitable gloves to prevent direct contact with the product.
Avoid direct contact of skin, eyes or nose.
