Silox 100

OVERVIEW:

SILOX 100 has been developed for cleaning applications where silicones are used in production processes.

MAIN FEATURES:

The SILOX 100 formulation contains a balanced combination of detergents and solvents and is designed to remove silicones present in oils, emulsions, compounds, mastic and resins

SILOX 100 is non-foaming and a flammable liquid.

TECHNICAL ADVANTAGES:

The product has no adverse effects on decanters in treatment plants

It can be applied in the form of a concentrate or diluted according to the amount of silicone residue present.

APPLICATION:

It can be specifically used in vessels and reaction vessels with residual polymer coatings

  • paper coating heat exchangers
  • catalyst emulsions

With residues up to 2,000,000 cps, with 5-10% concentrate diluted with water. Application can be by immersion, circulation or a Cleaning in Place (CIP) installation.

Use the chemical undiluted on floors and machines, apply manually with a mop or brush and remove with a scraper.

Teflon and/or Viton "O" rings and seals etc. are recommended for use in equipment that comes into contact with SILOX 100.
